Both Katie’s wedding dress and her Mum’s outfit are designed by Joyce Young. Katie’s Mum is a florist and made the bouquet and the church flowers for the wedding.

Katie is a ballet dancer and runs The Primrose Hill Ballet School and Primrose Hill Performing Arts she lives near our London showroom. She and her mother Suzzane first came to see us a year before the wedding.

At the first appointment it was clear that Katie would prefer to choose the Couture route and have a dress individually designed for her. She tried on styles and we mocked up the final design by taking elements from a few different samples. A sketch was drawn and the French Chantilly lace chosen which suited Katie’s delicate features beautifully. The body of the dress is a heavy crepe which drapes beautifully.
