Meet Mandy our beautiful mother of the bride who came into our London shop looking for the perfect outfit to wear to her daughter’s wedding .
Like most mothers who come to us she didn’t want to look like a ‘typical’ mother of the bride . She didn’t feel confident with her figure , again like most Mum’s she was carrying more weight than she used to and with that comes loss of self esteem a feeling that many of us beat ourselves up about ,quite unnecessarily , but it’s a Mum thing !
Like all mothers Mandy wanted to make her daughter proud on the most important day of her daughter’s life . With that comes pressure and many of our clients come in feeling apprehensive and a little bit worried about the process of finding the right outfit.
It’s our job to help you feel relaxed and enjoy the whole experience from start to finish . You will find both our shops in London and Glasgow have a calming atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy your appointment without feeling under pressure .
Mandy chose an elegant coat and dress in silver and ivory sand washed silk . We designed a bespoke dress with silk georgette beaded bodice cut above the waist to give a flattering and elongating line . The softness of the colours perfectly suit Mandy’s skin and hair colour. Classic and elegant definitely but also modern and relaxed and so different to ‘typical ‘ mother of the bride outfits.
We just love experiencing our clients‘ delight on collection day when they come to try on for the final time in the shop. Mandy was so happy with her stunning outfit and was happy for us to take lots of pictures.
