The new A/W Casual Chic styles have landed at Joyce Young Collections and to celebrate we hosted events in both our London and Glasgow stores. An evening of Casual Chic took place, first in Glasgow and then in our London bridal shop. With an open invitation, clients attended our showroom and enjoyed delicious canapés and prosecco. Our beautiful models sashayed elegantly around the store, mingling with guests as they brought the new Casual Chic collection to life. An evening of fashion, fun, and fizz was had by all.
We love hosting events in-store as it allows us to spend time with our clients in a more social setting. If Covid-19 has taught us anything, we should take advantage of the time we spend together in person. We feel privileged to be able to welcome guests into our elegant wedding showrooms and form real bonds over a shared interest in fashion.
First up was our Glasgow Casual Chic evening which we hosted in collaboration with the fabulous, Sarah Haran, and her ‘little bags of joy’. Sarah brought along a stunning selection of designer handbags to match our velvet collection and demonstrated the multiple ways in which these meticulously crafted handbags can be worn. Having shared the inspirational journey of how her business began, we were captivated by Sarah’s passion for handbags and e-commerce.
Friends and familiar faces of the Joyce Young brand, Janice and Marlen , did a magnificent job modelling at our Glasgow event. They showcased our all-new A/W styles, each accompanied by a matching handbag. From the velvet trouser outfit to our tartan-trimmed day dresses, every look was met with an incredible reception from our guests. Photographs don’t do justice to the glow from the velvet and the feeling of cosiness and warmth that comes with wearing our faux fur collars & cuffs.
Check out our highlights TikTok from the Glasgow Casual Chic evening and follow us on Instagram to stay up to date with all future news and events. Our Glasgow evening was a great success, making us incredibly excited to do it all over again in our London store.
We love the location of our London shop in the vibrant Steele’s Village on Haverstock Hill. With some of the most incredible businesses on our doorstep, the lively spirit and sense of community is unrivalled.
Before we knew it, the time had come to showcase our new collection for the London Casual Chic evening. With help from the gorgeous Cherie and Denise the new A/W styles were gracefully brought to life as our enthusiastic clients tried the outfits on for themselves. We brought along our gorgeous selection of matching Sarah Haran handbags which were admired alongside the display of bespoke head pieces by Beretkah which are available to purchase in our London store.
As we were celebrating the new Casual Chic collection, we decided to do something extra special and run a charity raffle. We want to say a massive thank you to all the generous sponsors who contributed prizes. Our guests received a VIP goody bag filled with vouchers from local stores and beauty masks from Frauschmitz Beauty. Find @frauschmitzbeauty on Instagram.
Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, our neighbours at Cinquecento Pizzeria provided us with the most delicious pizzas. They were even kind enough to let us perform an impromptu catwalk in their elegant restaurant! When fashion is your life, the whole world is your runway. See for yourself on TikTok.
We couldn’t have thought of a better way to introduce our A/W Casual Chic styles than to celebrate with you. Having received a remarkable reception from all our guests, we look forward to planning many more evenings like these in the future. On behalf of the team at Joyce Young Collections, we would like to say a huge thank you to all of our guests and collaborators for making this collection launch such a wonderful experience.
Stay tuned for more exciting events in the new year as 2023 will mark our 30th year of business. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all.
