On Saturday the 23rd March we hosted the Champagne Reception of the Scottish Variety Awards at the Crowne Plaza. It was a lovey evening and we thoroughly enjoyed the company of our guests. On display in the foyer we had 4 mannequins with outfits showcasing our designs.

As we were taking a taxi home, the mannequins and outfits were put in a locked room overnight for us to collect on Sunday morning.When Maurice returned to collect the outfits only 3 remained and the 4th mannequin was left wearing only an underskirt. The missing items are shown below. The coat is a catwalk piece and there is only one other in existance in this colour which was made for a bride and the dress which was under the coat is also missing. Only 2 dresses in this design exist and this is the original sample which has been stolen.

It’s unbelievable that someone would have the audacity to steal 2 such very distinctive pieces. They don’t exactly blend into the background ! The hotel has CCTV camera footage and the Police have circulated the photographs.  I really hope that they will be found.
